Gang of Banks. An old bank transformed into a clandestine event. We love weird, atypical, daring, inhospitable spaces that make the guest feel uneasy. This was certainly one of them, since it is rare for an old bank to be the scene of a clandestine dive transformed into a gambling den and corporate party. There we went! On the upper floor, oblivious to everything that was going to happen in the basement, the guests were making the last gasps of their year-end review. Once they finished, the owner of the bank burst in with a police patrol. Everybody down! And that's how the big party began...
Gang of Banks: An underground bank turned into a corporate party for Howden
We are passionate about unusual, daring spaces that disconcert guests, and transforming an old bank into the setting for a clandestine gambling den and a corporate party was a challenge we couldn't resist.
For Howden , we designed an immersive experience at Casa Gracia, Barcelona , where 130 employees went from a formal meeting to an evening of intrigue, excitement and spectacle in a matter of seconds.
From a corporate meeting to an unexpected raid
The evening began on the upper floor of the space, where the attendees, unaware of what was to come, were putting the finishing touches to their annual review. Everything seemed to be going as normal, until the owner of the bank burst into the room accompanied by a police patrol , announcing the transfer of all those present to the clandestine basement .
The tension turned to surprise and, in a matter of seconds, the guests went from a day of work to a night of betting, gambling and unlimited partying .
A clandestine gambling house with a spectacular atmosphere
The basement of the former bank was transformed into a real underground casino , where the excitement of gambling, poker and blackjack tables, dice and wads of cash created the perfect atmosphere. The dim lighting, period details and cinematic staging made the guests feel like they were in a story worthy of a gangster movie.
Party, music and an atmosphere that broke the rules
Beyond the game, the event evolved into an energetic celebration . A DJ kept the rhythm of the night, while signature cocktails and themed cuisine completed the experience. Every corner of the venue hid a surprise, and attendees experienced an evening full of adrenaline, laughter and complicity.
